Meeting and pickup

Pick-up Points: Airport or hotel pick-up and drop-off in Cusco (door-to-door service, vehicular access permitting).

Start Time: On the first day, pick-up begins at 07:00 AM directly in the lobby of your Cusco hotel.

Pick-up Details: At the start, you will board our comfortable transportation to begin an incredible journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At the end of the second day, after meeting our representative at the exit gate of the Ollantaytambo train station, you will board our comfortable transportation to head to Cusco, arriving after a nearly 2-hour drive to drop you off at your hotel or Cusco airport.

Cusco

7:00am: After breakfast at your Cusco hotel, our expert guide from Machu Picchu Latin America will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and board our comfortable transportation to begin an incredible journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Animal Rescue Center (Community Hands)

7:50am: After a few minutes of driving, we will arrive at our first stop at the animal rescue center, here we will see Andean camelids like alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas.

Taray Viewpoint

8:50am: Then we will continue descending to the Taray viewpoint and take the best and most classic photos of the Sacred Valley.

Pisac Archaeological Park

9:30am: Then we will continue our journey to the Pisac Archaeological Park, where we will enjoy impressive views over the valley and walk through its temples, residences, altars, canals and learn about Inca agricultural methods shared by our expert guides from Machu Picchu Latin America.

Pisac Market

10:30am: Then we will stop at the town of Pisac to visit its famous Pisac Market, where we can buy some local craft souvenirs. 11:20am: After this beautiful visit, we will take you to the town of Urubamba for approximately one hour for lunch.

12:20pm: Time to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (not included).

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park

13:20pm: We will continue our journey to Ollantaytambo and visit its incredible Inca town, also known for its impressive architecture where we can see amazing temples and terraces.

Ollantaytambo Train Station

15:10pm: Finally, we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo and board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

Train Ride to Aguas Calientes

15:37pm: This train ride allows you to appreciate the fascinating landscape along the sacred Vilcanota River.

17:02pm: Arrival at the train station, meet our representative at the exit gate who will accompany you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is all yours to rest. Overnight: Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town)
