Start Time: On the first day, pick-up starts at 07:00 AM in your hotel lobby.

Pick-up Details: At the start of the tour, our guide will pick you up to board comfortable transportation and begin the trip. At the end of the second day, after arriving from the train station, we will board our comfortable transportation to head to Cusco, dropping you directly at your hotel or at the Cusco airport.

Cusco

7:00am: After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, our expert guide from Cusco Wonders will pick you up from your hotel lobby and board our comfortable transportation to begin an incredible journey to the new Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Chinchero Weaving Center

8:20am: After an hour of travel you will arrive in Chinchero, our first stop during this amazing trip. We will visit the royal house of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, then visit a local weaving center and see their traditional weaving techniques. We can also buy some authentic handmade textiles like the famous Peruvian poncho.

Moray Archaeological Park

9:20am: Then we will head to the town of Maras where the incredible archaeological site of Moray is located, one of the most important agricultural research centers.

Salineras (Maras Salt Mines)

10:35am: After this important visit, we will head to our next stop and visit the famous Salineras (Maras Salt Mines). The Salt Mines are composed of about 3000 small pools. 11:40am: After this beautiful visit, we will take you to the town of Urubamba for about 30 minutes for lunch.

12:30pm: Time to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (not included).

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park

13:30pm: We will continue our trip to Ollantaytambo and visit its incredible Inca town, also known for its impressive architecture where we can see amazing temples and terraces.

Ollantaytambo Train Station

15:10pm: Finally, we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo and board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

15:37pm: This train ride allows you to appreciate the fascinating landscape along the sacred Vilcanota River.

17:02pm: Arrival at the train station, meet our representative at the exit gate who will accompany you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is all yours for leisure. Overnight: Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town)
